Kasia Szaflarski, M.Ed, LPC, NBCC, believes the foundation of therapy begins with the client’s experiences and the vulnerability of the clinician as well. She empowers patients through strength based practice and client-centered approaches.

Kasia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Science from St. Xavier University and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University. She has experience in crisis intervention, trauma, anxiety, depression, psychosis, mood disorders, and family therapy.

In addition to Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Kasia has a strong interest in incorporating alternative treatments into therapy to facilitate healing within the mind and body. Such treatments include the use of psychedelics, ketamine and the Illinois Medical Card.

Kasia is fluent in Polish and looks forward to seeing you at Innovative Therapy.
