Your first visit will be approximately 30 minutes. We’ll focus on health history, weight goals and expectations. We’ll explain how blood sugar regulation leads to weight loss and prescribe GLP medication (Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, Zepbound). We always try to use medical insurance for FDA approved weight loss medication before turning to compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide.
If your insurance covers weight loss, you will pick up your medication from the pharmacy and see an Innovative Primary Care provider 2/month via telemedicine to ensure you’re on track. If your insurance denies coverage for weight loss, we have three self-pay options to choose from. These include Zepbound, compound semaglutide, or compound tirzepatide. Prices range from $350-$500 per month for these options.

No. While both Innovative Primary Care and Innovative Vitality offer weight loss programs, the two are different. Innovative Vitality focuses on health optimization overall. It is a membership based practice where patients pay $250 per month to have more time with their medical team, receive coaching, and a more personalized health care experience. Providers at Innovative Vitality see their patients weekly and cover things such as weight, hormones, sleep, nutrition and much more. Innovative Primary Care offers weight loss medication and monthly check-ins to address questions and ensure success.
