MONKEYPOX TESTING (In-Office Visit)
Patients who are experiencing monkeypox symptoms and have a rash or lesions present should schedule a monkeypox testing appointment. Monkeypox testing can only be performed when a rash is present.
During your visit, our medical provider will evaluate your symptoms and test you for monkeypox infection. Please note, Innovative Care does not offer monkeypox treatment or vaccination, but we can advocate for this with the Chicago Department of Public Health on your behalf.

MONKEYPOX EXPOSURE (Virtual Visit)
If you have been exposed to monkeypox, but you do not have a rash or lesions, please make an appointment for monkeypox exposure. Monkeypox exposure visits are virtual via telemedicine.
During your visit, our medical provider will discuss your exposure risk and explain next steps if you wish to receive a monkeypox vaccine from the Chicago Department of Public Health. Please note, Innovative Care does not offer monkeypox vaccinations, but we can advocate for a vaccine appointment on your behalf.

Self-pay pricing is as follows:
– Monkeypox evaluation and testing ($250)
– Monkeypox evaluation and testing + STD testing ($350)
Per the CDC, Monkeypox illness begins with the following:
– Muscle Aches
– Swollen Lymph Nodes
Approximately 1 to 3 days after the onset of fever, the patient develops a rash. This rash commonly begins on the face and then spreads to other parts of the body. Lesions then progress through various stages before they fall off. Monkeypox illness typically lasts for 2−4 weeks.
