Juliet Gutierrez, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago. She is experienced in providing trauma-informed, evidence-based care. Juliet’s clinical philosophy centers on harm reduction, nervous system awareness, and the belief that healing unfolds through safety, connection, and self-awareness. Juliet is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences and navigate challenges such as trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, and life transitions. She also brings extensive experience working with veterans and their families, tailoring care to meet their unique needs.
Drawing on a blend of traditional and holistic approaches, Juliet utilizes evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), ACT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed yoga. She has a special passion for integrating meditation and somatic practices to support clients managing chronic stress, trauma, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges. Juliet looks forward to meeting you and working together in support of your wellbeing.
In her work with teens and adults alike, Juliet often incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as a values-driven framework that empowers clients to get in touch with what truly matters to them. This approach functions much like life coaching, helping clients clarify their goals, move through stuck points, and take meaningful action aligned with their values. Through this lens, therapy becomes not just a space for healing, but a space for growth, clarity, and forward movement.
