Monica Medrano, MD MS, is co-medical director of the Ashland Avenue Innovative Primary Care. She is a board-certified family medicine physician with experience in women’s health, general primary care, chronic care management and LGBTQI+ health. Dr. Medrano also has an interest in aesthetic medicine. She attended Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and completed her residency at St. Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center in Chicago.

Dr. Medrano enjoys helping people achieve good health through treatment and prevention. She is often praised for her caring approach, and she builds strong and long-lasting relationships with her patients. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Medrano enjoys crafting, baking and watching horror movies. She has also appeared as a background actress for the hit TV shows Chicago Fire and Chicago Med.
