Dr. Rahul Khare

Rahul Khare, MD, is the CEO and founder of Innovative Care, a group of medical practices revolutionizing the way healthcare is delivered in Chicago. He is also the visionary behind Innovative Vitality, a longevity-focused practice that helps patients optimize their health through proactive, personalized care.

Dr. Khare earned his Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from Northwestern University and completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Michigan. He then spent twelve years at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, serving as both an emergency medicine physician and associate professor.

During his academic career, Dr. Khare secured multiple federally funded grants and authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles aimed at improving healthcare systems. These experiences fueled his passion for creating a more patient-centric, efficient, and progressive healthcare model.

At the age of 40, frustrated by the limitations of traditional healthcare systems, Dr. Khare left academia to become a healthcare entrepreneur. In 2015, he founded Innovative Express Care, an urgent care clinic that quickly gained traction. Over the years, he expanded the Innovative Care brand to include multiple specialties, all designed to provide accessible, technology-driven, and cutting-edge treatments.

Today, Dr. Khare leads a network of 10 thriving clinics under seven brands—Innovative Express Care, Innovative Primary Care, Innovative Ketamine, Innovative Wellness, Innovative MedSpa, Innovative Therapy, and Innovative Vitality—serving thousands of patients across Chicago’s North Side. Through Innovative Vitality, he leads a team focused on longevity medicine, helping patients optimize weight, hormones, and overall health for a longer, healthier life.
